Auschwitz / Oswiecim
Former concentration and extermination camp of
Auschwitz-Birkenau, the
most extensive of the Third Reich. Four million persons of various
nations but most of them Jews, were systematically tortured and
assassinated in this camp. The symbol of the greatest genocide in
the 20th century.
Warsaw/Warszawa
Capital city of Poland,
was completely destroyed during Second World War. After 1945, Polish
started reconstruction of the old town. Now, when you compare
paintings of Canaletto from XVIII century, you will not see the
difference. Currently the center of Polish business and economy.

Gdansk
This
town was a free town for many centuries, has a unique old architecture
of Flamand style. It is a place where the Second World War Started, and

Cracow
/ Krakow
